Web Browser

Our site has been designed to work best with the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser. Other browsers can be used as well but the appearance of certain texts, lines and buttons may seem misaligned. This could be due to the font style and size selected on your browser. If you experience such problems we suggest using Internet Explorer or adjusting the font size of your browser to accommodate the viewing of the text in the pages.

Because of the nature of fashion ware, certain items remain over several seasons while others end with each season. The same is true in fashion accessories, while certain items will be carried in our inventories over several seasons there may be certain items that will be discontinued upon depletion of stock.

All our pricing is in Canadian currency. We have taken every measure to ensure that the best prices are presented to our customers through our on line store. By being competitive in our purchasing cost and volume, as well as controlling our operating cost to reduce all unnecessary overheads, we are able to offer superior quality products and the most competitive prices found anywhere. The more you buy, the more you save. You will be sure to save anywhere from 25% to 40% of the retail price of most department stores, or fashion outlets.

Ordering Method

Secure on-line ordering is the only method we currently support. Upon completing an order and submitting your credit card information, you will receive an acknowledgment email with an order number, confirming that your order has been accepted and is being worked on. Once your order has been processed and shipped out of our warehouse, you will automatically receive another email confirming the shipment of your order along with a tracking number and a link to the tracking page where you can track the status of your shipment in real time.

Order Processing

Orders are typically fulfilled in 24 to 72 hours depending on the size of the order, stock availability and seasonal rushes. Example:

Step 1: Order is placed. A confirmation email is sent with the order detail.

Step 2: Order is verified for valid credit card authorization, undeliverable destinations, order content and special instructions.

Step 3: Order is released to the warehouse for item verification and stock availability.

Step 4: Order is picked, if a certain item is not in stock, a replenishment from our secondary warehouse is requested, if a certain item is back ordered, we will communicate with the customer to decide if they want to wait for the item or select another item.

Step 5: Order is packed and shipped according to the shipping method requested by the customer.

Step 6: A shipping confirmation email is sent to the customer including the transport company’s way-bill number for on-line tracking of the order.

Step 7: Delivery of the merchandise.

Payment Method

We are authorized to accept payments through the following major credit cards: VISA, Master Card, American Express and Discover card at this time, as well as the PayPal on-line payment system.

On-line ordering and credit card authorization processing is performed over a secure 128bit SSL connection. This ensures that the best security protection is used in the industry and that your order and credit card information is delivered securely and safely to the merchant and the payment gateway.

Privacy

Absolutely no part of any personal information collected on our web site shall be transferred, passed on, sold or distributed to any third party. Your information will remain on file in our system and may be used to notify you of any upcoming new seasonal merchandise and promotional specials, only!

Guarantee

Return Policy

Products that arrive damaged, defective or are just not to your satisfaction can be *returned within 3 days of receipt for a **full refund on your credit card. Just write to "rma @ deepseatreasure . com" submitting your order number, the item number you wish to return and the reason of your return. You will then receive an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number by email with instructions on how to return the items back for a **full refund.

*Note. Returned merchandise that shows signs of usage, wear and or tampering with will not be accepted. RMA number is required for returns.

** Shipping charges from our warehouse to the customer are not refundable. Customer is responsible for shipping returned merchandise back to our warehouse.

Taxes

Only Canadian customers will be charged 5% GST

*Only Quebec residents are also subject to 7.5% QST.

* Please note that this rate may appear as 7.88% at check out time, this is because it is calculated on the order amount BEFORE the GST amount. Since the Quebec sales tax is charged on the order amount AND GST amount, our E-Commerce software is not capable of charging the Provincial tax ON TOP of the Federal tax, we are therefor required to use an adjusted equivalent rate to achieve the same amount.

Shipping

We’ve taken every measure to ensure that our customers get the best service at the best price. We’ve worked out the best rates with several transport companies and pass those savings directly to our customers. Shipping charges are calculated based on order amounts before any applicable taxes, and shipping methods.

*Standard ground shipping is free within Canada and U.S. for orders that total CAD $60.00 or more before any applicable taxes.

For orders totaling less than CAD $60.00 the shipping rates** are calculated in real-time according to the total weight of the order and location of the shipping address.

** These prices reflect our current pricing arrangement with the transport companies including fuel surcharge. These prices will be revised as better rates are obtained through other transporters or further negotiations.

On-line tracking of your order shipment is available by going to the transport company’s tracking site, which is available at the lower left side of our site, enter your tracking id there to follow the status of your shipment.

Duty and Taxes

Customers outside Canada may be charged customs duty and taxes based on the order value. U.S. residents are exempt from such charges on orders totaling less than CDN $230.00.
